World Basketball News: The Canadian national team is asking for the support of the Indonesian people so that they can perform optimally at the 2023 FIBA ​​World Cup. It will be one of the first countries to come to Indonesia.

FIBA World Cup 2023 LOC Communications Director Yudha Permana said that Canada will travel to Indonesia on August 20 at around 11:00 WIB. Canada will fly directly from Spain after conducting tests there. There is another reason why Canada arrived first in Indonesia. They will participate in several events to ask for support from Indonesian citizens.

“So Canada wants to get the support of the Indonesian people. They are coming early so they can have several events here. Monday or Tuesday they will have a fan meeting in Gandaria. We are open to events like that. Basically we will organize the Events that support the FIBA ​​World Cup also support it. This is a historic moment, the first in Indonesia, and it will not happen again for 10 to 20 years,” Yudha Permana said when interviewed by local media.

Canada itself is one of the top countries that will participate in the 2023 FIBA ​​World Cup.
