Ten people were killed and dozens more injured after being victimized stab in two remote communities Canada. Local police are currently looking for the perpetrators.
As reported by AFP, Monday (09/05/2022), the mass stabbings took place at 13 locations in the James Smith community of the Cree Nation and Weldon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Of the 13 locations, 10 people were reported dead.
“We have found 10 deceased people at 13 locations in the Cree Nation communities of James Smith and Weldon, Saskatchewan,” Royal Canadian Mounted Police Assistant Commissioner Rhonda Blackmore said at a news conference. .
In addition to the death toll, Blackmore said dozens of others were also injured as a result of stab this volume. The injured were immediately transported to several nearby hospitals.
“Several additional victims were injured, 15 of whom were transported to various hospitals,” he added.
So far, the local police are still looking for the two suspects. They have been hunted in 3 Canadian provinces.
