1. Pap test
Cervical cancer is one of the cancers with the highest incidence of female disease in Indonesia. A medical test for this disease is commonly called a Pap test. Cervical cancer is caused by the HPV virus.
You should get screened for cervical cancer, especially if you’ve been sexually active. It is recommended that women between the ages of 21 and 65 – or who are married and sexually active – have a Pap test every three to five years, depending on their clinical situation and individual needs.
2. Mammography
This checkup is very useful as a breast cancer prevention measure. Women over the age of 40 are advised to start mammography exams to examine their breasts. This health test should also be done once a year.
The exam may be done at a younger age if there is a lump in the breast or a family history of breast cancer.
For those of you who are under 40 and want to be screened for breast cancer, you can do a breast ultrasound.
3. Colon cancer screening
Colon cancer is one of the most common cancers in women, along with cervical and breast cancer. So, do the examination immediately if you have a history of colon cancer or polyps in the family with a colonoscopy examination.
