F1 News: McLaren driver Lando Norris doesn’t want to get too big ahead of the F1 Canadian GP weekend. He predicts that the race in Montreal will make things difficult for his team.
It cannot be denied that Lando Norris is one of the drivers who will appear quite impressive in the 2024 season. The Oscar Piastri tandem even managed to break the egg by taking their first victory at the Miami GP. He now occupies third place in the rankings with a score of 113 points. Even though his performance is on the rise, Norris doesn’t want to get too big. Before the crucial Canadian GP, he knew the race would be tough.
“Now it’s Canada’s turn! I love racing in Montreal, it’s a fun circuit with some very difficult sections, which makes it even more interesting. Our car performed well on a variety of tracks, but we know that this streak of success could be broken in “Canada. It is very likely that our rivals will be stronger than us there,” Norris said in an interview with local media.
“It’s great to have a week off after the races in Imola and Monaco. We achieved a double podium and scored a lot of points for the team. Last week I had productive sessions in working with the engineers in the simulator at the Woking factory, we will see what we can achieve in the next races,” he added.
