Bratislava, Gatra.com – The Uruguay national team defeated Canada in a friendly match held at the Slovak National Stadium on Tuesday (27/9) evening WIB. The Blue Sky team won with a score of 2-0.
Liverpool player under the spotlight, Darwin Nunez scored 1 goal in the match.

Uruguay’s two goals in the match, all scored in the first half. Uruguay’s victory started with a free kick from Nicolas de la Cruz in the 6th minute.
Crus’ hard kick from outside the penalty area was able to break through the opposing team’s group. Canadian goalkeeper Milan Borjan who tried to move, quickly lost with the speed of the ball which entered the net.
Uruguay then doubled their lead in the 33rd minute. A cross from Luis Suarez was met by Darwin Nunez with a lethal header.

Despite losing, Canada was originally superior to all of Uruguay. Canada is capable of owning the ball up to 56%.
Canada also managed to fire 3 shots on Uruguay’s goal. Unfortunately, not all of them paid off. Uruguay themselves could only manage 2 shots against Canada.
