Lando Norris comments on McLaren’s Canadian F1GP results

F1 News: Lando Norris has more questions than answers after a disruptive first day of testing at the Canadian Grand Prix which saw him record up and down times in the space of a few hours.

Lando Norris took the lead from Ferrari duo Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc in the wet/dry FP1 session at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, before falling to 20th and final place in the wet/dry FP2 as the drivers performed differently programs under mixed conditions.

When asked after the second session if he thought he had collected enough data for the upcoming weekend, Norris replied: “It’s never enough, but we learned a lot. In fact, it’s not dry. To be honest, we haven’t learned enough. »

“We did some tricks [paling sedikit]I think of everyone [di kondisi kering]…Not the best with it, but great in wet conditions, [kami] is in a reasonable position.

Making some initial thoughts on a possible hierarchy, the Briton continued: “At the moment I think we look a bit out of place. Ferrari seems a little ahead. »

“I don’t know where we are at the moment, because the conditions keep changing, so whether you do the first lap when the track is best, or the last lap when the track is best, it changes everything, but I don’t know.

Norris and Piastri were called before the stewards after the session for allegedly failing to follow the race director’s event notes regarding exit instructions at Turn 14, with the stewards avoiding any further action and Piastri receiving a warning.
