Actress and actor couple Cindy Fatikasari and Tengku Firmansyah will be moving to Canada in the near future. Both will settle there and start a new life.

Reported detikHotCindy said the couple and their children moved to Canada because they wanted to accompany their children who were continuing their education there.

Initially, Cindy and Tengku only had to take care of their children's move. However, their feelings as parents wanting to support their children pushed them to move.

“We think, for example, that if you are still very young and continue to live abroad, Firman and I have a responsibility to take care of him, his morals, his beliefs, his religion,” said Cindy.

“Because he is a boy, in the future he will be the head of the family. So we have to make sure that he is always on the right path religiously,” he said. for follow-up.

“These guys have been saying since high school that they want to study in Canada. They've already said what they want, so thank God we granted it,” Cindy said.

Since 3 years ago

Cindy and Tengku Firmansyah admitted that they had applied for permission to stay and sojourn in Canada, i.e. permanent residency, three years ago.

Cindy said Firman was listed as a key supporter of their decision. Both immigrated to Canada through the self-employed or professional migration route.

“We had discussions with lawyers in Canada, because at that time Keanu was still in high school, so his major was not yet clear,” Cindy explained. “The lawyer also doesn’t know how to go about getting this permanent resident,”

“It would be simpler if Firman became the main candidate using the so-called self-employed route. So this is the route for people like us, presenters, actors, musicians, painters, athletes, etc.,” he said. for follow-up.

“So there is a model for these people to migrate there. For people whose careers may already be well established,” Cindy said.

After a long wait and without certainty, the permit was only recently issued. Today, the couple, married for 25 years, are preparing to leave for Canada on April 16.

Cindy and Tengku Firmansyah are considering moving to the city of Edmonton. The city is one of the largest cities in Canada even though it is not metropolitan.

Both are also planning to start their careers from scratch in this country. However, for now, they cannot look for work because they do not have permanent residents.

They even joked that they had no problem doing anything as long as it was halal, including washing dishes.

“It doesn’t matter as long as it’s halal,” said Cindy Fatikasari when she came to the Rumpi: No Secret Trans TV event.

“He definitely does the dishes at home. I cook, he does the dishes, washes clothes, shares the work,” Tengku Firmansyah said.

“We haven't gotten a permanent resident card yet. So once we get that, we'll be able to work legally. At least we'll be extras for the first time,” Cindy said.
