7th Daruvala in the French F2 Feature Race GP
Indian Jehan Daruvala finished seventh in the Formula 2 French Grand Prix on Sunday.
The race starts from the 10th position on the grid.
Earlier, 23-year-old Daruvala, backed by Red Bull and at the helm of the Prima Racing team, finished second in Saturday’s sprint, finishing sixth on the podium this season.

Bubana-Middelkoop pair lose in Hamburg Open final
Rohan Bubana and Dutch partner Mattoï Middelkoop lost to British-Finnish duo Lloyd Glasspool and Harry Heliovara in the Hamburg Open final on Sunday.
The fourth-seeded Indonesian-Dutch duo, who reached the French Open semi-finals this year, failed to break up the unseeded pair of Glaspool and Heluvara and lost 2-6 4-6 in 1 hour 3 minutes.
This is the fourth final of the Bubana Tour this year. While the 42-year-old Indian, ranked 21st in the world in doubles, won the ATP250 titles in Adelaide and Bonn alongside compatriot Ramkumar Ramanathan, he and Canadian Denis Shapovalov lost the best match in Doha.
Indian duo Devj Charan and Purav Raja lost 6-7(3), 6-3, [7-10] At Mexican-American duo Hans Hatch Verdugo and top-seeded Hunter Reiss in the Indianapolis Challenger final.
Manish Sureshkomar claimed the $15,000 ITF title in Colombo with an impressive 6-4 6-0 victory over French top seed Quentin Folio in the final.
However, at the $15,000 ITF event in Monastir, second seed Vaidehi Chaudhari lost 3-6, 6-1, 4-6 to unseeded Indonesian Prisca Madeleine Nugroho in the seeded match.

AITA Ranking Championship
VM Ranjeet and Yubarani Banerjee are ranked first in the men’s and women’s divisions of the AITA Rs 500,000 Tennis Championships to be held at Singha Academy, Jalandhar starting Monday.
Dhruv Herbara, Ujis Thigu, Neeraj Yashbul, Yujal Bansal, Udit Kamboj, Sarthak Soden and Ankit Rao will be other important players in the men’s division. Ranjit will open ahead of qualifier Himanshu Moore.
Anjali Rathi, Jagmeet Kaur, Keshish Bhatia, Himanshika Singh, Ishwari Matiri, Sahira Singh and Sashi Sharma will be the other top performers on the female show. Yubarani will start against Chandana Potugari while Anjali will face Ritu Ohlyan.
Vaishnavi Adkar has qualified for the playoffs and will face Rachita Talwar in the first round of the main draw.

3M Fateh: Thigala, Atwal and Chopra fail
Indian golfer Arjun Atwal was eliminated from the 3M Open, while Danielle Chopra from Sweden-India and Sahith Thigala from America-India also failed to qualify here.
Tegala shot 73-73, Atwal 73-78 and Chopra 78-73.

Jeev Milkha Singh appears ahead of his Senior Open debut in Scotland
Indian golf legend Jeff Milka Singh took 75 straight seconds to make his senior debut here on Sunday.
Coming into the tournament after finishing third at the Winstongolft Open in Germany, Jeev was unable to play his game and missed a series of shots.
“That didn’t happen this week and I’m very disappointed considering it’s a big tournament, my first major tournament and the golf course is fantastic,” Jeff said.
He added: “I have never played the Kings Course before but it is a great challenge and a great challenge for golf. I hope I can spend some time here.

Aditi Ashok will miss the Evian Championship in France
Indian golfer Aditi Ashok missed a loss at the Evian Championships after racking up over 72 shots in the second half here.
Aditi, who has a record finish of 22nd, needed a bit of jumper on the final hole to stay in the event, but fell short as the pieces fell more evenly.
