JAKARTA, lightning.com– The Croatian national team has just released the players who will compete for World Cup 2022 Qatar. One of his star players is still a mainstay, namely Luka Modric.
Croatia announced the 26 players they brought to Qatar on their official website. Famous names are still brought by Zlatko Dalic, coach of the Croatian national team.
At the goalkeeper position, there are 3 names brought, namely Dominik Livakovic, Ivica Ivusic and Ivo Grbic.
At the back, the composition of young players and senior players will be displayed. Senior defenders such as Domagoj Vida and Dejan Lovren will be alongside young players such as Josko Gvardiol and Josip Stanisic.
In the midfield, Croatian coach Dalic still entrusts well-known names. There is a Real Madrid player and Croatia captain, Luka Modric. There’s also Chelsea’s Mateo Kovacic and Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
In attack position, Croatia will always rely on the names of Ivan Perisic and Andrej Kramaric. Equipped with players such as Bruno Petkovic, Mislav Orsic, Ante Budimir and Marko Livaja.
In the 2018 Russia World Cup edition, the Croatian national team was a dark horse team and became runners-up. Luka Modric and his friends managed to penetrate the final. But in the upper part, Croatia had to lose to France 2-4.
At the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Croatia are in Group F with Belgium, Morocco and Canada.
