Sungailiat (ANTARA) – DPRD member Bangka Regency, Bangka Islands Province Belitung Marianto believes that the Indonesian summit in Nusa Bali is an important boost to introduce Indonesia to the international community.

“The G20 summit is a great opportunity for Indonesia as the host to extend promotion to the international world to have a positive impact on domestic investment,” he told Sungailiat on Tuesday. in response to the establishment of the G20 Presidency in Nusa Bali from 15 to 16 November 2022.

According to him, the geographical area of ​​Indonesia which is quite large with a large population has become one of the leading countries in Asia which is considered by countries in the world.

“A silver coin may be the right proverb for Indonesia right now, where one movement has managed to achieve several benefits for this country,” he said.

He considered that the performance of President Joko Widodo assisted by the Onward Indonesia cabinet was quite optimistic about Indonesia’s ability to play a role at the international level both from an economic and political point of view, provided that a communication effective, productive and balanced policy is built.

Marianto hopes that the outcome of the G20 summit meeting can dilute the conducive global political conditions as it is undeniable that the political conditions will have a major impact on the economy.

“The G20 summit is a strategic presidential activity for Indonesia to become a country with a great economy but on the condition that it dares to dictate, including increasing gross domestic consumption,” he said.

The G20 Summit is a forum for multilateral cooperation and one of the most influential international forums whose members can represent more than two-thirds of the world’s population.

G20 member countries include Indonesia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom (UK), United States and European Union.
