Stop using Ukraine as a proxy against Russia, get Canada out of NATO!

Canada supports the escalation of tensions in Ukraine which is turning into a global confrontation, the activist said.

Engler shared a clip on his Twitter account when he interrupted when Joly was having a chat session at an event in Canada on Tuesday (3/22) local time.

“Stop escalating the war. Stop sending arms to Ukraine. You’re going to push us into World War III,” Engler shouted during Joly’s speech, as reported RT.

Canada, which along with the United States and other Western countries supports Ukraine in the ongoing conflict, has sent so many rocket launchers, grenades and other equipment to kyiv that it is exhausting its own military arsenal, Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand said last week.

Instead of supplying a lot of weapons to Ukraine, “why don’t you push kyiv to sign the Minsk agreement? asked Engler, addressing Joly.
The Minsk Agreement, signed with the mediation of Russia, Germany and France in 2014, was designed to regulate the status of the breakaway republics of Donetsk and Lugansk as part of Ukraine.

However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the deal “incompetent” and made it clear that kyiv would not honor it.

“Stop using Ukraine as a proxy against Russia,” the writer said, repeating some of his statements in French.

After shouting to disrupt the TV talk show, he then left the room disappointed.

In a post on his website Monday, Engler condemned Russia’s attack on Ukraine, but said NATO’s eastward expansion had increased the possibility of armed conflict between the two countries.

Ukraine’s declaration as a neutral country that will never join the US-led military bloc has been one of Moscow’s main demands during the ongoing peace talks with Kyiv.

“Peace-minded Canadians should redouble their efforts to get Canada out of NATO,” he said.
