Trans TV Cinema tonight, Thursday (4/8), will air Siberia (2018) at 9:30 p.m. WIB. The following is a synopsis of the Siberian film, starring Keanu Reeves and Ana Snake.
The Siberian story focuses on the character of Lucas Hill, played by Keanu Reeves. He is portrayed as a diamond businessman from the United States who already has a wife named Gabby.
Lucas travels to Russia to sell a rare blue diamond, after hearing word from Peter who holds the diamond. He plans to sell the diamond to gangster Boris Volkov.
Arriving in Russia, Peter disappeared without a trace, leaving Lucas confused. Moreover, Boris threatened to deliver the diamond within 48 hours.
Lucas then travels across Russia to find Peter. The trip took him to Siberia and accidentally met a woman named Katya (Ana Snake).
[Gambas:Video CNN]Instead of focusing on finding diamonds, Lucas, who is already married, falls in love with Katya. Meanwhile, Boris and his men continue to chase Lucas for the diamonds.
Siberia was first released on July 13, 2018. The film, directed by Matthew Ross, was only able to generate $636,000 in revenue from worldwide screenings.
Siberia began production in May 2017, and a number of scenes were filmed in Saint Petersburg. In addition, this film was also shot in several small towns in Canada.
