MAKASSAR, OPEN – Mayor of Makassar, Moh Ramdhan “Danny” Pomanto supports the implementation of the 7th International Conference on Accounting, Management and Economics (ICAME) 2022. This activity will take place on October 6-7.

“As a government, we support academic conferences like this, especially since they are international in scope and Makassar is the host,” said Danny Pomanto, during the ICAME 2022 committee visit. at his residence, Jalan Amirullah, on Friday, September 30, 2022.

He hopes that this activity can be carried out successfully and generate innovative ideas in the economic and commercial sectors.

“I hope that this conference can give rise to new and innovative ideas to solve the problems we are currently facing and in the future,” he said.

Meanwhile, ICAME 2022 committee Irdam Ferdiansyah said his party really hopes that Danny Pomanto can be present among the attendees at the annual FEB Hasanuddin University Makassar conference as a speaker.

“I really hope that Mr. Wali will be able to be present as a speaker during a convivial evening with the participants of the conference. But we will adjust it to Mr. Wali’s program,” Irdam said.

The event on the theme of innovation towards sustainable enterprises will bring together scholars from various universities across the countries. Like Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Canada.

This conference featured a number of speakers such as Yanuar Nugroho, Ph.D (Yusof Ishak Institute, Singapore), Prof. Dr. Noor Raihan Ab Hamid (Asia E University, Malaysia), Prof. Dr. Johnny Jermias (Simon Fraser University, Canada), and Prof. Arief Anshory Yusuf, Ph.D (Pajajaran University, Indonesia).
