Tiket.com co-founder Gaery Undarsa said that before starting Tiket.com he was living in Canada with an established career. But then he decided to return to Indonesia to develop the country. According to Gaery, everything can become “something” in Indonesia.

Although at first it was trial and error, Gaery was eventually convinced that Tiket.com could become a great company. The original idea was simple, Gaery wanted to make it easier for people to order ticket plane. In the past, people were quite “complicated” when Indonesians ordered flight tickets.

Even abroad, there are many online travel business models such as Tiket.com. Therefore, Gaery is confident about the future of his business in Indonesia. In addition, Indonesia consists of thousands of islands that must be reached by plane.

In the YouTube video “JURUS SAKTI TIKET.COM CO-FOUNDER, BUILDING A COMPANY FROM ZERO TO HUNDREDS OF BILLION VALUE”, Tiket.com was established in 2011 starting with capital borrowed from banks (KTA).

Even if he seems reckless, Gaery believes in the full potential of his team. He also went around looking for investors. For six consecutive years, Tiket.com has been under the auspices of a mentor who was their first angel investor. After that, they got a new partner who brought the great Tiket.com to what it is today.

Gaery revealed that the selection of partners to do business is very important. Tiket.com started with 7 people, but now there are only 3 people left.

Even so, Gaery and the other partners are very solid as they have gone through many moments and moments together. Gery also gave advice if you want to choose a partner, look for those who can fill our gaps or things we are not good at.

The secret of Tiket.com’s success as it is today is that it prefers to spend more budget on customer service. According to Gaery, customer experience satisfaction is the main thing.

Apart from this, the inclusion of Djarum Group in Tiket.com has also greatly influenced the success of Tiket.com to date. In 2017, the Djarum group was already interested in the Tiket.com business model.

Finally, Gaery reminded the youngsters that the real failure is when you don’t dare to take risks. Because if we don’t take risks, there will be no progress.
