Kim Nam-gil creates an Instagram account and uploads vacation photos in Canada

korean actor Kim Nam Gil created an Instagram account on Thursday (15/9). He uploaded eight photos with no intro writing. Most of his photos were taken when he went to Canada.

In one of the uploads, Kim Nam-gil is seen sitting with his two fellow actors, Jung Woo-sung and Kim Jun-han, as they attend the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.

Around this time, Jung Woo-sung’s directorial debut titled The Guardian was included in a special presentation at the Canadian International Festival. Kim Nam-gil and Kim Jun-han also came out to support him.

There are also several photos showing the actor posing with the two actors in front of Ontario’s scenic Niagara Falls on a sunny, cloudy day. Kim Nam-gil wore a long-sleeved white shirt accompanied by sunglasses.

Other photos show the actor walking around town with Jung Woo-sung. One of the cities was taken on a trip to Toronto, Canada to attend an international film festival.

At 11:30 p.m. WIB, Kim Nam-gil’s Instagram account already had 22.5 thousand followers.


Kim Nam-gil recently starred in Declaration of Emergency with Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun, in Seol In-ah. The film shows the terror in the plane that threatens all passengers.

Next, he made a guest appearance in the movie Hunt (2022), starring Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung.

Some of the projects Kim Nam-gil will star in include tvN drama Island, Netflix series Thief: Sound of the Sword and movie Night Trip.

He first started to enter the world of cinema with a small role in the KBS series School 1 which aired in 1999. Then he started appearing in supporting roles in a number of Korean dramas, such as Goodbye Solo, Lovers and When Spring Comes. .

In 2019, he played the lead role in the crime comedy drama titled The Fiery Priest. Thanks to this role, Kim Nam-gil won the Best Actor nomination at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards.

He went on to win eight awards for his performance, including a daesang trophy at the 2019 SBS Drama Awards.

Kim Nam-gil recently returned to the small screen when he starred in the SBS drama Through the Darkness which will air in early 2022. He plays Song Ha-young, a criminal behavior analyst who struggles to determine behavioral patterns serial killers.
