Badung, Bali (ANTARA) – Minister of Communication and Information, Johnny G Plate, has officially opened the Digital Transformation Expo (DTE) technology exhibition, which is a side event to the G20 Summit.

Johnny said the Digital Transformation Expo technology expo marks the end of the G20’s Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG) series of activities.

This exhibition was organized as a showcase for Indonesia, other G20 member countries, and invited countries to showcase the latest technologies amid the current global digital transformation.

The digital transformation exhibition features six attractive areas, including the entrance area, which is a welcoming area that represents the collaboration of G20 countries in promoting digital transformation.

The third area, the digital archipelago, introduces the four pillars of Indonesia’s digital transformation, including the development of digital infrastructure, the development of digital economy, the development of digital society and the development of digital governance.

The four pillars are presented in an attractive visual to be able to give an overview of the development of digital transformation in Indonesia.

The next area is called G20 Synergy, which showcases the digital transformation initiatives of several G20 participating countries such as Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Turkey, as well as countries guests such as the United Arab Emirates.

Then there is the Wall of Collaboration area which contains the appreciation of the stakeholders and parties that are involved and helping to encourage the acceleration of digital transformation.
