OTTAWA, KOMPAS.com– Canada will hold the investiture ceremony of the King English Charles III as head of state.
The Office of the Governor General of Canada has announced that the inauguration ceremony will take place on Saturday (10/9/2022).
The ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. local time (approximately 9:00 p.m. BST) at Rideau Hall, the official residence of the British-appointed office of the Canadian Governor-General, acting on behalf of the King.

Charles automatically becomes King of England and heads of state of 14 other countries, including Canada, when his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, died on Thursday (8/9/2022).
Canada is still a member of the Commonwealth of Nations where the King of England is the Head of State.
Reported Kompas.com previously, King Charles III was officially proclaimed king to the public on Saturday afternoon local time.
Church bells rang across England at midday on Friday (9/9/2022) in honor of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Queen Elizabeth II reigned for 70 years and broke records. His reign passed steadily.
“During this time of grief and change, my family and I will be comforted and strengthened by our memories of the deep respect and affection for which the Queen is so widely known,” Charles said on Friday. AFP.
Buckingham Palace said the King and other members of the Royal Family will undergo a period of mourning until the Queen is buried.
