BALI-Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Puan Maharani attended the closing ceremony of the Business 20 or B20 Summit 2022, which was one of the main events of the G20 Summit in Indonesia.

Bung Karno’s grandson also met with a number of world leaders.

The closing B20 of the summit was held at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Nusa Dua, Badung Regency on Monday (14/11/2022).

The B20 Summit in Indonesia has been organized for two days since yesterday by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (KADIN) at the request of the Indonesian government as the G20 Presidency 2022.

Puan’s presence was welcomed by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, as Chairman I of the G20 Sherpa Tracks Division in Indonesia.

The B20 itself is an official dialogue forum that is part of the G20 Summit under the Sherpa Track or Sherpa Track.

Before the start of the event, Puan had the opportunity to speak with the Prime Minister (PM) of Canada, Justin Trudeau, who was also present.

In Puan, Justin Trudeau expressed his appreciation for Indonesia as the G20 chair this year.

“Thank you to Mr. Justin Trudeau. Even though the schedule is tight, we always make time to attend and support Indonesia at B20 and G20,” Puan said, responding to Justin Trudeau’s appreciation.

As one of the main forums of the G20 Summit, the B20 represents the interests of the global business community in formulating policy recommendations to support the G20 policy-making process.
