In the United States, there are six PPLNs that provide significant support to the Jokowi-Ma'ruf couple. In New York they got 823 votes to 175 votes, in Chicago they got 1,180 votes to 134 votes, in Washington DC they got 1,114 votes to 352 votes, in San Francisco they got 4,478 votes to 977 votes, in Los Angeles they won with 4,270 votes to 316, and in Houston, by 2,752 votes to 332. With these results demonstrating unity, the United States also showed strong support for President Jokowi .

As the 2024 elections approach, the Indonesian diaspora in the United States and Canada has an important role to play. There is great potential for Ganjar Pranowo to gain strong support from this community, following in the footsteps of the Jokowi-Ma'ruf couple's achievements in the 2019 presidential election.

There are similarities between Ganjar and President Jokowi in their simplicity, achievements and closeness to the people, a view also shared by the diaspora. Some of them even described Ganjar Pranowo as “the next Jokowi.”
