A four member volunteer team from the government agency then dispatched and found the man. The Apple Emergency SOS feature is currently only available to Apple device users in the United States and Canada.

This feature is set to roll out to wider regions soon, with France, Germany, Ireland and the UK later this month. Previously, Apple’s 2022 iPad was in for a teardown by iFixit.

One of the treats is the lack of second-generation Apple Pencil support and the difficulty of fixing this device. Removing the 10.9-inch Liquid Retina IPS LCD panel reveals a nearly identical layout to the 2020 iPad Air.

Meanwhile, Apple internally changed the name of its mixed reality headset companion software from realityOS to xrOS. Apple thinks this name better represents the capabilities of the software.

According to journalist Mark Gurman, XR stands for extended reality. Additionally, Gurman also reported that this headset will feature augmented reality and virtual reality related features.
