Leaderboards and high scores World Cup 2022 experienced a change after holding four matches from Tuesday (22/11) afternoon to Wednesday (23/11) early morning WIT.
The French national team won 4-1 against Australia in the 2022 World Cup Group D match at Al Janoub Stadium, Al Wakrah on Wednesday (11/23) early morning Western Time Indonesia.
This victory allowed France to manage to take the lead of the Group D standings by winning three points in one game.
Meanwhile, that loss dropped Australia to fourth or bottom of Group D with zero points in a game played.
In this match, France scored four goals thanks to two goals from Olivier Giroud in the 32nd and 71st minutes, as well as one each from Adrien Rabiot in the 27th minute and Kylian Mbappe in the 68th minute.
Giroud’s two goals in that match saw him rise to the top of the 2022 World Cup top scorers.
Meanwhile, in the other match, Mexico vs Poland ended in a 0-0 draw. This result left Poland in second place and Mexico in third place in Group C.
Both are under the top of the Group C table, Saudi Arabia who beat Argentina. Meanwhile, the defeat left Argentina bottom of Group C.
