TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Badminton tournament Denmark Open 2022 entered on the second day. Nine Indonesian representatives will play today, Wednesday October 19, 2022, at Jyske Bank Arena, Denmark.

In the first field, the men’s doubles duo, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, will face the representatives of Japan, Akira Koga/Taichi Saito. This will be the second meeting between Akira/Taichi and Marcus/Kevin. The Minnions have won the first meeting of the All England 2022.

After that, the simple gentlemen, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting will face Lakshya Sen. In the previous two encounters, Ginting always lost. Last time Ginting was beaten by Lakshya Sen in the 2022 Thomas Cup.

In men’s doubles, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin will face the host’s representative, Kim Astrup/Andres Skaarup Rasmusen. The Danish pair are leading with two wins and one loss.

In the second field, women’s doubles, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti against the representatives of Estonia, Kati-Kreet Marran/Helina Ruutel. This meeting will be the first for the two.

Then the men’s doubles, Muhamamd Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana against Wei Chong Man/Kai Wun Tee from Malaysia. The first meeting between the two was at the 2021 Belgium International, Bagas/Fikri won.

Indonesian mixed doubles, Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati faced a tough opponent, Zheng Si Wei/Huang Ya Qiong of Chia. This will be the first meeting for the two.

In Indonesian women’s doubles, Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma / Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi faced representatives of South Korea, So Yeong Kim / Hee Yong Kong. This meeting will also be the first for the two.

Then the men’s singles, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito against the representatives of Canada, Brian Yang. Vito’s record of meeting the two is still won by 3-0.

In mixed doubles, Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari met with representatives from India, Ishaan Bhatnagar/Tanisha Crasto. It is also the first meeting for the two.
