Arnhem, Gatra.com – Serbia managed to overcome the resistance of Canada at the 2022 Women’s Volleyball World Championship. Serbia won with a score of 3-0 in the match which took place at the GelreDome, Arnhem, Netherlands on Sunday ( 25/9) evening WIB.
Tijana Boskovic became Serbia’s winning star in the win. The player born on March 8, 1997 has 23 points.

Serbia immediately dominated this game. Although quite tight, they managed to win the first set with a score of 25-23.
In the second set, Canada started to get overwhelmed. Serbia also closed the second set with a 25-16 win. Serbia’s pace grew ever more unstoppable in the third set as they won 25-20.
“It’s always important when we can start a tournament like we did today,” Boskovic said after the game, as reported by volleyballworld.
Boskovic thinks his team plays well as a team and has good energy. Nevertheless, the goal is to continue to improve with each game and reduce errors.

“My last tournament with the national team was the European Championship last year and I’m very happy to be back,” said the player who plays for Turkish club Eczacibasi Dynavit.
The player who measures 194cm has contributed to many achievements with Serbia. He also became a part, when Serbia became world champions in 2018.
He also helped Sebia win a bronze medal at the 2020 Japan Olympics, after winning a silver medal at the 2016 Brazil Olympics.
