Within hours, international media reported the Kanjuruhan Stadium tragedy

It is therefore not surprising that the deadly tragedy at Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, East Java, Indonesia is known to people in England, the United States, India and others.

The two British newspapers cited a number of media outlets in Indonesia, including Surya Malang and Kompas.com.
