A photo taken 120 years ago has gone viral for capturing a girl who looks just like the 19-year-old Swedish teenager.
This photo taken in 1989 by Eric Hegg takes place in a gold mine in the Yukon region of Canada. Inside are three unidentified children toiling in an artificial hole dug in the ground.

The photo itself is stored in the University of Washington Library based in Seattle, United States (US). The existence of the photo has drawn several interview requests to discuss it and even more to use it since 2019.

“We had about 15 to 20 requests just to talk about the photo, and we’re now in triple digits, in terms of requests to use the photo,” archivist Lisa Oberg told CBC. daily starSaturday (27/8/2022).
There’s no doubt that one of the youngsters looks like Greta, but some Twitter users have gone so far as to claim that the character is really Greta, thanks to time travel technology.
“In other news, Greta Thunberg is a time traveler,” wrote one user who shared the photo.
Another netizen commented, “I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but he’s 100% time travelling.”
“Evil pop culture fanatic. Extreme bacon geek. Food junkie. Thinker. Hipster-friendly travel nerd. Coffee buff.”
