TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Movies Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile is a fun and educational family movie. As the title suggests, the main character of this musical is a crocodile.

Adopting the comedy genre, this film is based on a children’s storybook of the same title by Bernard Waber. The book, published since 1965, became a children’s bestseller.

The theme raised in this story concerns family, friendship and peace.

The story is about a talking crocodile owned by a charismatic magician and circus performer.

The magician named Hector P Valenti bought a little crocodile that could sing. The crocodile was called Lyle, he was often invited to play in the circus. Lyle also enjoys bathing while singing.

Once upon a time Lyle was left in an empty house in New York. Then the house was bought by the Primm family.

Josh Primm, one of Primm’s children, struggles to adjust to a new environment, including with his classmates.

Until he met Lyle. Josh Primm’s life then changes after he befriends Lyle. The Primms are happy with Lyle and Josh’s relationship.

But their neighbor, Mr Grumps, is worried about the crocodile. Then Mr. Grumps made an evil plan to get rid of the crocodile.

The film was directed by Will Speck and Josh Gordon. While the main character is filled by Swan Mendes. The Canadian singer is also involved in the production of the song with composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. They are the composer behind the film La La Land, no wonder the songs in this film which will also be sung by Shawn Mendes are also highly anticipated.

After Swan Mendez, Javier Bardem will play the magician Hector. The Primm family itself is played by Constance Wu as Primm’s mistress. Winslow Fegley as Josh Primm who befriends Lyle. Scoot McNairy becomes Josh’s father. While the antagonist of Mr Grumps is played by Brett Gelman.

Lyle Family Movie, Lyle, Crocodile It will be released in theaters on October 7, 2022.
