8 Inter Milan players will play Qatar World Cup, some will meet here

KBB News – The 2022 World Cup in Qatar is only a few months away. The plan, this four-year tournament begins from November 21, 2022 to December 18, 2022.

Of course, the world competitions will stop temporarily and will continue after the World Cup.

Inter Milan apparently have eight players in this squad who played for six national teams at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Who are they?

1. Romelu Lukaku (Belgium)

The Inter Milan striker will spearhead Belgium at the Qatar 2022 World Cup later this year. Inter Milan are also likely to be left temporarily by Lukaku, and luckily there are other forwards, like Dzeko and Alexis Sanchez. The countries of the two players, namely Bosnia and Herzegovina and Chile, did not qualify for the Qatar World Cup.

2. Marcelo Brozovic (Croatia)

This Inter Milan general midfielder will be the basis for Croatia to win the Qatar 2022 World Cup later on.

Brozovic in the Croatian national team in a duo with Real Madrid’s Luka Modric or former Inter Milan player Mateo Kovacic.

However, Inter Milan are lucky to have groomed Brozovic’s representative, namely Kristjan Asllani who is from Albania and his country was not included in the country that qualified for the FIFA Cup. World 2022 in Qatar. Asllani is a new Inter Milan player who was brought in from Empoli this season.

Not only Asllani, Inter Milan also have Hakan Calhanoglu (Turkey) and Nicolo Barella (Italy), both of whom will not be taking part in the 2022 World Cup.

3. Stefan De Vrij and Denzel Dumfries (Netherlands)

These two Inter Milan players come from the Netherlands. They will both help their country to be able to compete with other countries. De Vrij is expected to link up with Liverpool defender Van Dijk later in his national team. And at right-back, Dumfries has always been a standout player in the national team with his goalscoring.

Inter Milan must also think about finding a replacement for De Vrij if the player gets injured during the World Cup. As for the position left by Dumfries, Inter Milan still have players available, like Mateo Darmian and Raoul Bellanova who are both Italians and did not qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

4. Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa (Argentina)

These two Inter Milan strikers will leave Inter Milan simultaneously. Thus, Inter Milan will lose three forwards to defend the national team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, with one more player being Lukaku. Lautaro and Correa will join Messi et al. Not only that, Argentina is presented as a national team candidate for the title of champion of this world cup. Moreover, so far they are undefeated.

5. Andre Onana (Cameroon)

The goalkeeper who has just signed for Inter Milan this season has the potential to leave temporarily to defend his national team to participate in the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Fortunately, Inter Milan still have their main goalkeeper, Handanovic whose country, Slovenia, did not qualify for the Qatar World Cup.

6. Robin Gossen

The last name that will defend the national team at the Qatar World Cup is Robin Gosens. He will defend the German national team. However, Inter don’t have to worry as they can still use Mateo Darmian to be placed on the left side if Gosens gets injured after the World Cup.
