Argentina secured their place in the 2022 World Cup Round of 16 after winning 2-0 against Poland at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on Thursday (1/12) early morning WIB.

Poland, who were beaten by Argentina, also continued their run at the 2022 World Cup. Poland are in the last 16 due to a superior goal difference to Mexico, who won 2-1 against Saudi Arabia.
Mexico and Poland each have four points from three games. But Poland’s goal difference is 0, while Mexico’s is -1.
Meanwhile, in Group D, Australia accompanied France as a representative for the Round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup.
The Socceroos qualified for the Round of 16 of the World Cup after beating Denmark 1-0 at Al Janoub Stadium on Wednesday 11/30. Mathew Leckie’s only goal brought Australia to the side of France.
Tunisia’s victory over France did not affect their chances of qualifying for the Round of 16 due to Australia’s victory over Denmark.
Tunisia remain knocked out of the 2022 World Cup, but sit third in Group D with four points. Meanwhile, Denmark are bottom of the standings with one point.
Elsewhere, Salem Al Dawsari’s goal against Mexico made him one of the players to score twice at the 2022 World Cup.
However, Al Dawsari couldn’t continue this impressive record as Saudi Arabia had already been knocked out of the 2022 World Cup.
